Phytochemical and Antimicrobial Activity of Fumes and Powder Extracts of Tinospora cordifolia

Herbal medicines have a long therapeutic history and are still serving many of the health needs large population world. However, quality control assurance remains challenge because high variability chemical components involved. T. cordifolia is commonly referred to as Amrita or Guduchi. All parts plant immensely useful due presence different secondary metabolites. We aimed investigate qualitative quantitative (carbohydrate poly-phenolic compound) analysis metabolites present in extracts Tinospora powder its herbal fume (generated from Yagya), followed by study antimicrobial activity against E. coli P. aeruginosa. The study's cocktail (hexane, ethyl-ether methanol) (10 mg/ml) showed 30 mm 21.67 Zone inhibition E.coli respectively indicating equivalent efficiency fumes. Similarly, fumes contained all qualitatively that extract. In addition, carbohydrate compound (0.277 mg/g 0.29mg/g), were higher than (0.131 0.26mg/g) cordifolia's holistic utility.
